Kasargode, Monday, April 19, 2010: The Kerala State Electricity Minister A.K Balan told today that the Opposition leader must respond to the CBI’s declaration, that no evidence was obtained against CPM State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan in the SNC Lavalin case.

CBI had earlier informed the Special Court that there has been no evidence obtained against CPM State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan’s involvement in connection with any financial transaction with mediators, company in the SNC Lavalin case.

The CBI sources made this statement in the affidavit submitted in the court. The Court was considering the case registered by T.P Nandakumar, requesting to reveal the present situation in the 300 billion crores SNC Lavalin scam case.
