Alappuzha, Saturday 04 July 2009: The Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam will hold rights declaration rallies, protesting the neglect towards the Ezhava community by the State and Central governments.

At a press conference after a leadership summit of the Yogam at Cherthala here on Friday, Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan said successive governments at the State and Centre had failed to ensure social justice and to initiate development of the Ezhava community.

The rallies, which would also raise slogans against the denial of social justice, would be held at Kozhikode and Ernakulam on dates that would be intimated later. They would also raise 22 demands, including declaration of minimum support price for all agricultural products.
