Thiruvananthapuram, Saturday 9 May 2009: The move to stop the system of giving soft drinks to those who donated their blood in the blood bank of Thiruvananthapuram medical college is creating furor among donors.

In the beginning, there was a system to give milk and Horlicks to the blood donors. But after a while this method gave way to Frooti and then to black coffee and biscuit. Now here is no any drink other than hot water for blood donors for a week.

Hospital development council alleged that interference of some persons sabotaged the system.
