Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday 26 May 2010: The state cabinet today decided to constitute a special team for solving the issues related to land in Munnar.
Speaking to the reporters here after the weekly cabinet meeting Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan informed that 29 new posts would be created for the post including that of one deputy collector. KDH village would be bisected as six zones for the purpose.
The cabinet also gave approval to a scheme to provide rice at 2 rupees per KG for the endosulphan victims. There would be an increase of 400 rupees in the pension provided to mentally and physically retarded persons.
