Kottayam, Friday, August 20, 2010: The Kerala Congress (M) Chairman K.M Mani today told that the LDF government was functioning as an agent of TATA company for the land encroachments in Munnar. Mani asserted that the details of the ordinance had reportedly been leaked out in advance to the company and the government must probe into the matter.

Mani affirmed that the Chief Minister V.S Achuthanandan must take stringent action against the ministers who are involved in this issue.
