Kanpur, Tuesday 09 February 2010: Apparently upset over certain unpleasant remarks made by his classmate, a 17-year-old boy shot at a fellow student inside school campus today, police said.

Aman Singh, a student of Class XI at KR Education Centre at Sanigawa area in Chakeri near here came to school with a loaded revolver belonging to his uncle and Samajwadi Party leader Ravi Pratap Singh, and shot his classmate Vivek, Kanpur DIG B P Jogdand said.

Vivek was immediately rushed to hospital and his condition is stated to be stable, he said. Police later arrested Aman and seized his revolver.
