Kochi, Wednesday, December 23, 2009: Sufiya Maudani, wife of PDP chief Abdul Nasser Maudani and tenth accused in the Kalamassery bus burning case has been given conditional bail by Ernakulam Sessions Court.

The Court directed that an amount of 1 lakh must be remitted as surety and two solvent sureties of Rs 1 lakh each are required to meet the bail condition.

In the bail condition it is also mentioned that, Sufiya must not leave Ernakulam district and should submit her passport before Court, Sufiya must also produce herself before the investigators in case of need, Court ruled.

Sufiya was arrested on Thursday after the Kerala high court rejected her plea for anticipatory bail, after two accused and two witnesses had testified against Sufiya
