Kochi, Wednesday, March 10, 2010: The NIA reportedly told the court that Sufiya Maudani was the mastermind behind the Kalmassery bus smoldering incident. Sufiya who is the wife of PDP chairman Abdul Nazer Maudani, with her political power would be easily able to destroy the clues relating to this case if she is granted bail, told the NIA.

The court was hearing her plea for reducing the conditions of the bail; further trial would be made tomorrow. The NIA also pleaded to the court not to change her bail conditions.
