Suspected Maoists kill 3 CPM supporters in Bengal

New Delhi, Friday18 December 2009: There’s unrest in Lalgarh after reports that suspected Maoists killed two CPM supporters. Another CPM supporter has been shot dead at Baita, about 10 km fm Jhargram town.

Also, five persons have allegedly been kidnapped by Maoists from Bandhgora.

Meanwhile, People’s Committee Against Police Atrocities (PCPA) has called for an indefinite road blockade agitation in West Midnapore district.

The agitation is to protest police failure to produce in court two PCPA supporters allegedly picked up on December 6. Police has denied they had picked up the two PCPA supporters.
