Thiruvananthapuram, Saturday, 24 April 2010: Shashi Tharoor who was eased out of office, received a warm welcome on his return to the constituency, here today.

Tharoor for the first time, after his quit arrived as Minister of state for External Affairs in the wake of IPL controversy, arrived via Jet Airways around 12.45 pm at the Trivandrum International Airport. AIYF activists who protested against Tharoor’s arrival were removed by the police.

There was a huge rush at the Airport for receiving Tharoor by DCC activists. People representimg various associations and social networking communities also thronged to airport in support for their leader
