Thiruvananthapuram, Sunday 15 May 2011: The thin majority which the UDF obtained in the assembly polls will not be a problem for the government, said Oommen Chandy.
Talking to reporters after he was elected congress legislature party leader, Chandy said the narrow win will not affect the functioning of the government. Chandy said, C Achutha Menon Government had a majority of only three seats but when compared we have a majority of four seats.
The people of the state have faith in us and we will move forward keeping that in mind. Chandy lauded KPCC chief Ramesh Chennithala’s leadership.
