Idukki, Wednesday, February 11, 2009: Legislative committee which today went to inspect the Mullaperiyar dam site has alleged that Tamil Nadu has tampered with the scale used to mark the water level in the dam. At present the water level at the reservoir is 110.9 feet but in the scale it was marked 141 feet. The Tamil Nadu authorities also did not allow the committee members to enter into the reservoir gallery.
