Wayanad, Wednesday, February 17, 2010: According to latest reports coming in a tourist bus suspected to be from Karnataka has fallen into a deep ravine in Wayanad. Reports say, the mishap occurred at viewpoint near ninth turn.

Eyewitnesses say there were six people on board and three of them have already been pulled out from the ill fated bus which is now hanging to some tree branches. The road traffic has come to a complete standstill here.

At present, locals and fire rescue service men are carrying out the rescue operations. Those injures have been taken to Vythiri government hospital. Wayanad and Kozhikode collectors have reached the spot.
