Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday 18 March 2010: Various construction works progressing in the state under the Rs 1448 crore Tsunami Rehabilitation Project, would be completed in next few months, Revenue Minister K P Rajendran told the state assembly today.

The work was moving in a time bound basis and there was no need to extend the period of Tsunami Rehabilitation Project, K P Rajendran said while replying to calling attention to the necessity to extend the period of the schemes for one more year in view of its non-completion.

Though the period of the project would end on March 31, only few more works related to construction of houses and roads in some places were yet to be over, Minister said.
