Mumbai, Nov 28: Television news channels on Friday discontinued their live coverage of the shootout between terrorists and commandos at the Nariman House in Mumbai following a request from security agencies.

“The security agencies made a request in the morning that the terrorists will get information about their (commandos’) movement if we continue to show it live on television,” a news channel official said.

“Their request was immediately accepted seeing the gravity of the situation,” added the journalist, who wished not to be named.
