Pathanamthitta, Friday, November 27, 2009: A 30 year old Sabarimala pilgrim, identified as Poojapura Mudavanmugal native Mahesh Kumar died of cardiac arrest at the Cardiology Centre at Neelimala-Top on the Pampa-Sannidhanam traditional trekking path.

Mahesh Kumar had reportedly suffered severe chest pain and had breathing difficulty while undertaking the arduous climb though he was immediately taken to hospital, life could not be saved.
