Tvm: Tearful adieu to Sincy killed in Gurgaon   Tvm:

Thiruvananthapuram, Friday, January 13, 2012: Hundreds of people today paid tearful homage to 23-year-old Sincy Sebastian, a software engineer, who was found murdered in Gurgaon on Wednesday.

The mortal remains of the departed soul were laid to rest at the Pattoor cemetery on Friday evening. The body was brought here by air and was taken to her ancestral home at Kunnukuzhi and then to her house at Gowreesapattom.

Sincy’s body was received by her father Sebastian Fernandez and close relatives who went to Gurgaon after being informed about the tragic incident. The post-mortem of the body was conducted at a local hospital. The police are yet to unfold the mystery behind the murder.

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Shashi Tharoor MP, K Muraleedharan paid their last respects to the departed soul.

Sincy who was working with the HIPL in Gurgaon was found dead in the flat where she was staying with three of her colleagues as paying guests. There were three deep stab injuries near her neck, which caused the death. It is reported that the incident took place when her room mates were away at office.

The colleagues gave a call on Sincy’s mobile phone when she didn’t turn up at the office. As there was no reply from the other side, they rushed to the flat and found Sincy lying in a pool of blood.

Sincy, who was an engineering rank holder, got employed in Gurgaon about a year ago. Her mother Vimala is a head nurse at the Thiruvananthapuram .

According to Gurgaon police officers, some eyewitnesses informed that they had seen a couple of persons entering the flat after her colleagues left for office. The police ruled out robbery attempt as no valuables were found missing from the flat.
