Thiruvananthapuram, Friday, February 04, 2011: Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan said that the UDF was annoyed on Smart City in Kochi becoming a reality. He was speaking to the mediapersons in Thiruvananthapuram.

The deal was signed with TECOM after protecting the interests of the State. Though 12 percent freehold rights of the land have been given, they are not entitled to sell the land, the Chief Minister said.

A dispute occurred after TECOM turned against it. The Opposition is attacking the Government as it is a setback for Oommen Chandy as all the problems in the UDF deal has been solved, VS added.
