Kalpetta, Tuesday, February 7, 2012: The Thamarassery ghat pass road would be opened for traffic after repair on Wednesday. An official team led by Kozhikode district collector PB Salim visited the ghat pass road on Monday.

The repair works of 6 hairpin curves, which were in a dilapidated condition, were completed. The new road is being constructed with 60 cm thickness and the road has been widened at each hair pin curve. It will ease the traffic at the hairpin curves.
