Kochi, Friday, April 16, 2010: A woman was slapped by a bus conductor for asking balance cash in Kochi. Ambika, a resident of Kaloor was abused by the bus conductor Firoz, a resident of Idukki. Police have started an enquiry to find Firoz who fled the spot after slapping Ambika.

Ernakulam central police have registered a case against Firoz. When the police questioned the driver of the bus he replied that he didn’t know the details of the conductor. But the police identified him and got the details.

Justice D. Sreedevi, Chief of State Women’s Commission told that they would intervene in this issue. She added that the Women’s commission would take case against Fiorz for abusing a woman in public.
