New Delhi, Thursday, May 27, 2010: The KPCC President Ramesh Chennithala and Opposition leader Oommen Chandy met Congress President Sonia Gandhi and AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi in Delhi for discussing the matters regarding the Youth Congress membership allotment.

Reports say that the Centre had expressed disinterest in the YC membership allotment. It is also reported that that the Centre has recommended to stop the YC organisational election temporarily until June 5th, the last date for YC membership allotment.

After their meeting with Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, Chennithala and Oommen Chandy also met Defence Minister A.K Antony in Delhi.
