Kochi, Friday, October 31, 2008: The police detained a B tech student in Kochi for sending e mail threats to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and President Prathiba Patil.

The email read that bombs blast will occur at Delhi and Kochi.

The person who send the hoax email threats has been identified as Arun Surya a 24-year-old B tech student and son of a bank employee.

Police said his motive behind sending the mail was not immediately known.
