Thrissur, Tuesday, March 22, 2011: A youth was killed after being hit by a tipper lorry near Erumapetti in Thrissur district today. The dead has been identified as Vijayan (32), a native of Chittanda.

The incident occured at around 4 am in the morning. Though he was rushed to the Vadakkancherry Taluk hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
