Wayanad, Wednesday, February 08, 2012: A 22-year-old youth was killed in a road mishap that occurred near Sultan Batherry here on Wednesday evening. The deceased has been identified as Saheer, hailing from Thalasserry, police told.

The accident occurred when the scorpio car in which he was traveling overturned after loosing control. He was taken out after cutting open the vehicle with metal shears and was rushed to the nearby hospital. But he succumbed to injuries later.
