Delhi Daredevils in  their last match in the Champions league out thrown the Cape Cobras by 30 runs on a low scoring game.

Requiring 115 runs to win, the Cobras were off to a shaky start. They lost wickets in regular intervals. Nannes picked up three wickets for 19 runs in his four overs. Amit Mishra took two wickets.

Owais Shah was declared the Man of the Match for his 39 runs which played a vital part for Delhi to reach the score of 114.

Cape Cobras won the toss and elected to bowl first. However, their decision was right as Delhi was restricted to 114/6. Owais Shah topscored the innings with 39. Cobras indeed have strong batting line-up. But, this pitch isn’t an easy one for batting, so they could yet be a twist to this game.

Already out of contention for a semi-final berth, Delhi Daredevils was playing for pride.

Cape Cobras were already into the semifinals.

Cobras now take on T&T in Hyderabad. The other semi-final will be an all-Australian affair in Delhi.
