The IIFA extravaganze came to an end in Macau and Jodhaa Akbar topped the list of winners.It was a starry night in Macau as the Bollywood stars made their way on the green carpet for the India International Film Academy Awards, popularly knows as IIFA Awards.

The evening belonged to Jodhaa Akbar which swept the awards night in the popular categories.
It swept the IIFA awards with a perfect 10 trophies - including Best Film, Best Actor (for Hrithik Roshan) and Best Director (for Gowariker).

As for the special awards commemorating 10 years of IIFA, Shah Rukh Khan was accorded the Best Male Actor of the Decade, while Aishwarya Rai was crowned with Best Female.

Rajesh Khanna was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award - presented to him by Amitabh Bachchan.

Best Actor in a Leading Role - Male     Hrithik Roshan - Jodhaa Akbar

Hrithik Roshan won the Best Male Actor for his performance as Akbar in Ashutosh Gowariker’s historical romance Jodhaa Akbar. He also won the IIFA Style Icon award.

Best Actor in a Leading Role - Female     Priyanka Chopra - Fashion

Priyanka Chopra won the Best Actress award she lifted for essaying the trials and tribulations of an aspiring model in Fashion.

Best Director Ashutosh Gowariker - Jodhaa Akbar

Ashutosh Gowariker’s film Jodhaa Akbar bagged 10 awards. Gowarikar won the best director award for his historic piece which wove together romance and communal harmony ‘Jodhaa Akbar’.

Best Actor in a Supporting Role - Male      Arjun Rampal - Rock On!!

Arjun Rampal walked away with the award for Best Male Actor in Supporting Role trophy for playing the longhaired, brooding guitarist in Rock On!!
