Broasted Chicken

Ingredients:
• 1 Chicken with skin or 8-10 Drum Sticks
• 1 cup (8 ounces) Gram Flour (Besan)
• 1 cup Flour (maida)
• 1 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Black Pepper (kali mirch)
• 1 tsp Red Chili Powder (optional)
• 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
• Oil for deep-frying

How to make Broasted Chicken:

Cut the chicken into 8 fine pieces and put it in a large bowl

Add lemon juice, 1 tsp of salt and rub it all over the chicken pieces.

Cover and marinate for at least 3-4 hours or keep inside the refrigerator overnight.

Mix the remaining ingredients except oil in a bowl

Place about ½ cup (4 ounces) of the flour mixture in a plastic bag and start putting one or two pieces in the bag.

Start shaking the bag so that the chicken pieces get well coated with the flour mixture.

Repeat with remaining chicken pieces and flour mixture.

Arrange the chicken coated pieces in a single layer on a cookie sheet

Deeply fry the chicken in an electric deep fryer over high heat after following the manufacturer’s instruction. Fry till it turns into crispy golden color.

Remove from oil and place the chicken pieces on the absorbent papers
