CAULIFLOWER PEAS KURMA

INGREDIENTS

cauliflower-1medium size
peas -1cup
onion -1
tomato -1
greenchilli-2
chillipdr -1spoon
garammasala-1/2ts
oil -1tbs
To grind
coconut -5tbs
cashewnut -1tbs(optional)
fennel -1spoon
For seasoning
jeera -1ts
curry leaves-few sprigs

METHOD

Cut the cauliflower into small flowerets & put them in the hot water for 5mins.Then drain the water. Pressure cook the cauliflower , peas together with salt & turmericpdr for 1 whistle.In a seperate kadai put oil add the seasonings when it splutters add onions,gin&gar paste fryupto a slight brownish.Then add tomatoes & slit greenchillies.When the tomatoes are cooked add the chillipdr & fry it for 2mins & then add the boiled vegetables.Add salt & 1or2cups water(as per the gravy u need) into it.
Mix it well, once it started to boil add the ground paste & stir nicely.Allow to boil for 5mins finally add the garammasala pdr & cor.leaves on the top remove it from the fire.It tastes good. It goes well with chapathi, bread, dosa & rice.
