Ingredients
1. green gram - 2 cups
2. jaggery - 500 gms
3. coconut - 1
4. maida - 1 cup
5. elachi powder - 1 tea spn
6. moongdal flour - 1 1/2 cup
7. oil - as required
Method of preparation :
Cook the green gram in a vessel. ( do not over cook ) Melt the jaggery in a pan and add grated coconut and elachi powder into that and heat. Stir well.
Add the cooked green gram into the melted jaggery, stir well and switch off the stove. (While stirring, the green gram should not get crushed ). Make small balls with the cooked green gram
Mix maida and moong dal flour in water and make it a thick paste. Add salt also. Dip the green gram balls in the maida-moong dal paste, fry them in oil and take out.
