Miscarriage  

Miscarriage is the ejection of a fetus before it has reached a stage of development, where it is adequate enough of living under normal or required conditions outside the uterus.

Pregnant women are generally at a risk of miscarriage between the third and seventh month of pregnancy. It occurs due to vata disturbances in the body.Various hormonal and chemical changes occurring in the body of a woman when she becomes pregnant lead to a number of health complications. Sometimes the hormonal changes may also lead to the problem of miscarriage. Other causes of miscarriage may include chronic diseases like hypertension , diabetes etc. Cervix weakness and resistant disorders and chromosome imperfection are also the factors leading to the problem of miscarriage. Proper and balanced diet, intake of fresh fruits and vegetables and intake of sufficient amount of water are the key factors required to maintain a good health during pregnancy.

Causes for Miscarriages

  • Taking drugs and alcohol can cause miscarriage.
  • Tumors caused in uterus, problem with chromosomes are some other causes.
  • High levels of stress, taking unbalanced diet, physical injuries, emotional shock, and problem in uterus are some of the causes of miscarriage.
  • Wrong smoking practice and diabetes can be the cause of miscarriage, as they rupture blood vessels and cause trouble in the uterus because of improper passage of blood ,Growing age, sickness, defects in uterus, hormonal problems, and frequent pregnancy can lead to miscarriage.
  • Excessive intake of birth controlling pills can also lead to miscarriage.
  • Abnormal embryo, genetic problem, sickness in mother like high blood pressure, thyroid and kidney problem, prolonged fever or illness, infections, problem in reproductive organs are some other causes of miscarriage.

Miscarriages Symptoms

  • Bleeding, infections, bacterial presence or the presence of toxins in the blood, membrane breaking are some of the miscarriage symptoms.
  • Severe pain in stomach and genital regions also need high attention during pregnancy.


Dos and don’ts for Miscarriages

  • Good amount of rest is required for healthy living and preventing miscarriage.
  • Live stress free life to avoid miscarriage.
  • Vitamin E, zinc-rich foods, garlic, rosemary, Vitamin C-rich fruits, oranges, papaya, green vegetables, asparagus, fenugreek, celery are good for at the time of pregnancy and for preventing miscarriage.
  • Avoid smoking, refined sugar, coffee, and alcohol as they hampers blood vessels and hormones necessary for fertility. They increase chances of miscarriage.
  • Maintain a good healthy life and good health by doing yoga. It is advisable to the couple to maintain good healthy life for disallowing miscarriage.
  • Intake pulses, fish, sprouts, almonds, milk products with less fat content.
  • Green vegetables, salads, multicolor fruits like papaya, apple, and whole grains are needed for preventing miscarriage.
  • Diet plays an important role for pregnant women and the growth of her baby, and for preventing miscarriage. Good balanced diet rich in carbohydrate, proteins, less fat and rich in minerals are highly recommended.

    Are you sure Papaya is good while pregnancy? Because on every site, it’s showing avoid Papaya during pregnancy.
